• Each entry may not exceed 10 minutes in length.
  • The stories and content of the film should be student/youth (21 and younger) driven. An adult supervisor is allowed; however, the entire film/video must be conceived and produced by students with minimal adult input.
  • Only original work may be submitted. This includes music, sequences, and other media sources. If copyright protected sources are used, obtain the necessary permissions and include them with this application.
  • Content must be creative, and demonstrate clear artistic and technical choices.
  • All films must be viewable by a public audience (rating of PG-13 or less).
  • Any film partaking in unlawful or anti-social behavior (including ‘jackass’ style filmmaking) will be immediately disqualified.
  • Filmmakers must have permission to use all copyrighted music.
  • The filmmakers must have the permission of all actors/extras featuring in any film.
  • All music and other rights must be cleared for home video, educational, online, broadcast and theatrical distribution. Upon acceptance to the Festival, you will be contacted and offered the above distribution opportunities as part of our non-exclusive contract.

  • It is the responsibility of the entrant to cover shipping.
  • Submissions must be on a polyboxed DVD. DVD should be labeled with the title of the film and contact person’s name and email. Please note: all submissions are final. DVDs will not be returned.
  • ALL Materials must be postmarked by Friday, March 20th, 2009.
